Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation Guidelines

1. Duration of presentation

     a. Plenary: 40 minutes/talk (35 min. presentation + 5 min. Q&A)

     b. Keynote: 40 minutes/talk  (35 min. presentation + 5 min. Q&A)

     c. Oral presentation (Technical Session): 15 minutes/talk (12 min. presentation + 3 min. Q&A) 

2. Prepare your presentation file

     a. Prepare your presentation file(s) in MS Power Point (MS Office 2013 version).

     b. Bring your PPT file(s) on a USB memory stick to the session room.

     c. There is no preview room to upload your file(s).

     d.  If you use fonts other than standard Microsoft Office fonts, please bring the font file itself with your presentation file(s).

     e. Presentation monitor aspect ratio is 16:9.

     f. Presentation should be made in English (no simultaneous interpretation provided).

3. Audio Visual Equipment in the Session Room

     a. Laptop computer & Laser pointer

     b. LCD projector and Screen

     c. Microphone

     e. HDMI cable

4. On the Day of Your Presentation

     a. Arrive to your assigned room (as listed in the program) at least 15 minutes before the start of the session.

     b. Bring your slides on your USB drive to the session room.

     c. ​ Connect your USB to the laptop at the presenter’s podium and start the presentation.

     d. You will not be able to use your own laptop and must use the conference-provided laptop.

     e. Presenters will not be able to access the internet via the session-room laptop.

     f. ​ Do not ask the Session Chair to reschedule your paper within the session. 

Poster Guidelines

1. Overview

     a. Location of poster display: Tamna Hall Lobby (8F)

     b. Poster size: 1 page up to 900mm (w) x 1,200mm (h) - A zero size  (841mm x 1189mm) printing recommended

     c. It is entirely the responsibility of the presenter to print out the poster, attach it to the designated poster board, and collect it at the

        announced removal time.

     d. There will be oral presentations of the posters.

  • Check your assigned poster session in the Daily Program and stand-by in front of your poster at that time.

  • Make a breif presentation as requested by the session chairs and/or jedges, and prepare for Q&A.

    e. Your poster will be displayed during your designated presentation date.

          Cilck on"Poster Session" in the Daily Program or check page no. 36 ~ 47 in the "Final Program (PDF)" to check the poster board

          number assigned to your poster.

  • Poster Session 1 (14:00 ~ 15:00, November 27)

  • Poster Session 2 (14:00 ~ 15:00, November 28)

2. Mounting & Demouting

     a. Schedule

  • Mounting Time: 09:00-10:50 (on your presentation date)

  • Demounting Time: 16:30-18:30 (on your presentation date)

     b. Poster Help Desk

  • There will a Poster Help Desk at the Tamna Hall Lobby (8F)

  • Free to use the prepared materials, attach your poster(s), and return it to the desk.

  • Please use your own suppliers if the prepared materials are run out.

  • Posters cannot be attached to the board using staplers, pins, etc., and if the panel is damaged due to arbitrary use, a damage fee will be charged.

     c. Make sure to mount the poster on the designated poster board.

     d. After the demolition time, the remaining posters will be discarded.
