Guidelines & Online Submission

WORTH-10 invites paper submissions to share the latest cutting-edge research in the field of Nuclear Reactor Thermal-Hydraulics.

 

The theme of the WORTH-10 is “Challenges in Thermal-Hydraulics for SMRs.

 

Importance Dates

  • Abstract submission deadline                                                                   August 11, 2023

  • Notification of abstract review result                                                   September 1, 2023

  • Deadline for submission of full paper or extended abstract     October 13, 2023

  • Deadline for submission of full paper or extended abstract     October 20, 2023 (extended)

  • Deadline for pre-registration & author registration                     November 3, 2023

  • Final program confirmation                                                                        November 20, 2023

Step 1.    Online submission of Abstract by August 11, 2023

Authors are required to submit an English abstract (text only, no template) of maximum of 450 words, along with author’s contact information. When submitting your abstract, please select a topic from “Technical Topics” below that fits your abstract topic.

  • Track 4.  Severe Accidents and Probabilistic Safety Assessment

  • Track 6.  Advanced Water Reactor Technology (iPWR, SCWR, etc.)

  • Track 7.  Next Generation Reactor Technology (SFR, VHTR, MSR, etc.)

  • Track 8.  Advanced Thermo-fluid System Design (Space, Marine, Fusion Applications)

  • Track 9.  Industrial Activities for Evolutionary and Innovative SMRs

                     (9A) SMR Deployment Strategy in Nuclear Industry

                     (9B) SMR Technical Issues in Nuclear Industry

                     (9C) Industrial R&D Activities on General TH Safety

Step 2.    Online submission of Full Paper or Extended Abstract by October 20, 2023

If an abstract is accepted, authors are required to submit either a 'full paper less than 8 pages' or a '2-page extended abstract'. Both PDF and Word file copies of the full paper or extended abstract must be submitted online.

  • Authors must choose their presentation type while uploading the Full Paper/Extended Abstract. Please select one from given option (Oral/Poster/Either).

  • The final presentation type will be decided by the Technical Program Committee after reviewing submitted papers.

Step 3.    Author registration by November 3, 2023
